Total Body Mapping
Description
Body Mapping makes the early diagnosis of malignant melanoma, dysplastic nevi and malignant non-melanocytic skin tumours possible using artificial intelligence -assisted whole-body photography and morphological analysis.
Added value
In addition to a clinical and dermatological examination of the patient, Total Body Mapping provides complete photographic documentation of moles using an innovative computerised system.
Status
The Body Mapping machine was financed by the FHRS, purchased and deployed at the Hôpitaux Robert Schuman in June 2023. A Body Mapping machine has also been in operation at the GesonheetsZentrum since 2024.

"The project perfectly reflects the values that characterise and are defended by the HRS: respect for the patient, team spirit, excellence and innovation, sustainable development. But also prevention and modernity: making the most modern prevention and examination techniques available to our patients."
